Have you noticed how quickly your morning cup of coffee or tea grows cold after it has been poured out of the pot? Even a whistle screaming hot tea kettle will not remain hot very long once removed from the heat source. It is the same with our lives. Once we have removed ourselves from our source of power our hearts begin to cool. No matter how screaming hot and on fire for God our hearts are if we do not remain in constant contact with our source we will become cold. Pastor Mike in Sunday’s message urges us to check our spiritual temperature and make sure our hearts stay connected to God. Click on the arrow to listen to this week’s message.
One of the navigational tools used by pilots is a compass. However, this compass is not perfect and must be reset by using a magnetic compass to make sure their heading is true so they can get to their proper destination. We also need to make sure our spiritual compass is set properly as well so that we make it to our final destination. Click on the arrow below to listen to Sunday’s message to help reset your compass with the truth of God’s Word.

Holiness sometimes in our modern world gets a bad rap. People who want to live a holy life are often viewed – even by other Christians, sadly enough, as some sort of spiritual nerd who is out of touch and behind the times. God has a very different view on holiness. Click on the arrow to listen to this week’s message about being set apart by Pastor Mike.

It’s important to understand the difference between peace with God and the peace of God. Both are vitally important to have. The first will determine your eternal destination, and the second will help determine what kind of life you have on the way to your eternal destination. The old year is coming to the end of its course and a new one is about to begin. This is the time of year when many of us put pen to paper and make our list of resolutions for the new year. We take off from the starting line with a mad dash when the clock strikes midnight to signal the start of the race for another year. After a fine start we may begin to flag a bit, and by mid year many of our good intentions have been thrown by the wayside as we run our race. Considering the track record for many of us in relation to keeping our New Year resolutions perhaps it isn’t more resolutions that we need but a revolution. A revolution that overthrows old mindsets and behavior patterns. Click on the arrow below to listen to Sunday’s message by Mike Fields and learn how to stage your own New Year’s Revolution.
