JCC has some great stuff planned for this weekend that we wanted to let you know about. Sunday evening the Spanish Bible study will meet at 5 PM. If you speak Spanish or know someone who does invite them to join you in attending this study. Also meeting Sunday evening is the Bikers Life Church. They will have a service at 5 PM and a “taco torcher” taco feed biker small logoafterwards. If you like tacos and motorcycles – or if you just want some fun people to hang out with Sunday evening – come on over and join us. Everyone is welcome. Directions are on the contact page of this blog.

A Great Ride

ride for unbornThe Bikers Life Church (BLC) had a fantastic ride yesterday. The weather was perfect as the BLC First Annual Ride for Life roared through Anchorage with seven riders and a couple of other vehicles in support of the rights of the Unborn. The entourage paused long enough outside of Planned Parenthood to cheer on the lone sign wielding protester on the sidewalk before returning to JCC. The riders enjoyed a bbq lunch together with some supporters who joined them in the JCC parking lot. Thanks to everyone who participated in the ride and provided support for the event.

The statement making ride in support of the Unborn will begin at Joy Christian Center at 1 PM, and, following a predetermined route through the community, will finish up back at JCC. There will be a meet and greet BBQ at the conclusion of the ride. You can contact 907.349-0255 for more information.
