Synergy

The Bible tells us that two are better than one, and a three-fold cord isn’t easily broken. Today’s devotional by Lisa Bevere and reposted from Messenger International’s blog gives great insight to what can happen when women of God work together.

 

Let’s focus on the word synergy for a moment.

According to the Oxford English Dictionary, synergy is defined as the interaction or cooperation of two or more organizations, substances, or other agents to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects.

As women, we are powerfully capable beings who are fearfully and wonderfully made to bring forth the works of God. We can be immensely influential when we come together, or synergize. One woman’s prayers are strong, but a group of unified women strategically praying purposeful, passionate, intelligent prayers is a force to be reckoned with.

Far too often, women choose to compete against each other whether it’s in the way we look, having a fabulous house, or stepping on people to move up in careers. Let’s admire each other’s individual beauty and make our homes a warm welcoming place for community. Let’s stop using people for self-promotion and start working together for a greater cause.
