A Taste of Ireland

March is known not only for the beginning of spring, but also for Saint Patrick’s Day. So, in honor of popular holiday, the JCC’s 1st Sunday Coffeehouse offered a little taste of Ireland tonight. Irish Stew and Soda Bread shared the buffet line with a myriad of tasty green desserts. While the 1st Sunday crowd took advantage of the spread they were treated to some traditional Irish tunes performed balladeer Philip Price. Professor Price, born and raised near Dublin, Ireland, interspersed his wonderful musical presentation with some lovely vignettes about life in Ireland, much to the delight of the attendees.  JCC thanks Professor Price for providing the wonderful musical trip to the Emerald Isle this evening as well as the donation to the coffeehouse ministry. We also want to everyone who brought the desserts, and helped with set up and clean up.
